PowerBI Column Chart Filter

Hello there,

I am having trouble with creating a column chart that displays the last 4 months, not including the current one, in PowerBi Visual. I saw some DAX equations around through a Google search, but I don't think I am understanding the way DAX is structured. I would appreciate any advice.

Currently I have a table with a Date Column, Company A numbers, Company B numbers, and Company C numbers. I want a clean way to display all companies last 4 months not including the current one. I tried filtering by TOP N as well, that proved to not be a viable solution.

you can use a relative date filter for the last 4 calendar months on your visual. You'll need to drag the date column to the filters pane, and then you can change the type to relative date. This way, there's no need to create extra DAX code.
