What is the meaning of small black line below the coloum name in advance editor.
The reason behind asking this question is that we are facing below issue:
Table 1 - OLE DB or ODBC error: Type mismatch. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80020005 (DISP_E_TYPEMISMATCH)).
Table -2 OLE DB or ODBC error: Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040E4E. An unexpected exception occurred.

Yes, a non-continuous line indicates something is wrong with the column.
Data type is not defined, and I see numbers. There might be special characters/spaces that are preventing the engine from converting the data type to a number when you try to change it.
Have you tried using trim + clean (before changing the data type)?
At what stage do the errors appear?
