Trying to build a matrix in PBP/RB where we have Fiscal Year / Quarter / Month as Column groups (intend to hide/show them to mimic drilldown) and Products on the Rows.
At the month level, the measure values in the cells should show the number for the month (the lowest grain of data we capture)
At the quarter level, this should show the value associated with the last month of the quarter...the Closing Period value.
At the fiscal year level, this should show the value associated with the last quarter of the year...the Closing Period value
With Power BI, one can sort of get to this with CLOSINGBALANCEMONTH and CLOSINGBALANCEQUARTER
With other tools (OLAP ones) you can set the time rollup of a measure to be the closing period which shows the right value depending upon what level you are at in the time hierarchy.
How might one approach this in Power BI Paginated / Report Builder? Would like something that works out of the box vs conditional rendering but not sure if it can be avoided.
