Power BI Metrics capture

Good day

I would like to capture the metrics or the usage of the power BI Report and store it in a sharepoint list , as we can take data manually using lineage metrics but the metrics needed to be captured automatically. Any suggestions?

@Vignesh1997 , Once you add the usages report to your workspace, You will get access to the dataset too. You can use this dataset to automate the data from power bi sharepoint

@amitchandak Thank you for the response,
I have tried the following but still I couldn't access the dataset of the saved copy of the usage metrics . It shows me a pop up "It may have been deleted or you may not have access to view it." Kindly advise for a solution.

Hi @Vignesh1997 ,

No, the dataset of this usage metrics is not reached unless you use power bi desktop to create a new report by custom. Or You can also analyze the Power BI usage data in PivotTables, charts, and slicer features in Microsoft Excel.

For more details you can refer this official article.
