Power BI Dashboard - Source file format

Hi! I been using Power BI for last couple of months. When I start to create dashboard in Power BI for one of the table format I was not able to fix the issue. It would be very helpful I you could help me in the issue.

Attached are two images. One image showing Dashboard whereas the other is the excel table format.

I would like to create a dashboard as attached without changing the table format. Is it possible?

Thanks,

Nivash

Hi @Anonymous ,

If I understand your requirement correctly that you want to create the clustered column chart in power bi based on the data table like the second image?

If it is, could you share your data sample with table format so that we could copy and test on it?

Best  Regards,

Cherry

Hi!

Thanks for your reply.

Thats what exactly I mean.

Below is the link for excel file format with the graph. I would like to create the chart in power BI without changing the table format.

Hi @Anonymous ,

For your table format, I'm afraid that we cannot create that chart in power bi.

As a workaround, you could duplicate the original table and then Unpivot the date columns for the table 2 in query editor so that you could get the date column as the x axis for the clustered column chart.

In addition, I have a little confused about the Sales 14 and Sales 13, it seems that there is no column named Sales 14 and Sales 13 in your table format.

Best  Regards,

Cherry
