Hi,

It is because the data in [Zone] and [Country] can not correspond with each other due to lack of 'US' in [Zone] in this case.

And please try this column:

Column = 'Table'[Zone]&"-"&'Table'[Country]

The result shows:

Best Regards,

Okay thanks..this worked..but please also can you tell me how to apply filter for where country is ALL.... if country =all then i must get all the countries against that user...and also if a user is tagged to one single country then that user must be able to see only that country under that zone when he logins..thanks

I want to create heirarchy column to acheive dynamic RLS. on the basis of this column i will create role so that when a user logins he or she will only be able to see the zone and country for which he or she is supposed to.. hope this helps

@Anonymous I don't thin you need hierarchy to achieve this, you can create any business logic in RLS , read my post here that talks about how you bring your business logic to RLS.

Could you please guide me what should i write in the rls statement so that it gives me data accordingly to the excel. as you can see for the second last it should give me only US country under NA zone and for the last user it must give me all the data. it should bifurcate the data accordingly.
