I have a dynamic measure which uses a parameter variable in it's calculation. This parameter functions as a multiplier in a measure to calculate cost. I can use a slicer with this parameter which allows the data to reflect based on the selected multiplier. This parameter is based on a table which has a series of locations, each tied to a multiplier figure.
I want to be able to select a location and have the slicer pick up the multiplier in the slicer, applying this to the data. As currently constructed, when a location is selected, the slicer goes blank.
Is there a way to use a filter of a related field to filter a parameter?
@TakeoffGoatMigo , Not very clear, but the old measure slicer and field parameter approach can help
