No data points show up on the map using desktop

Hi, For global version, no data points show up on the pre-built visualization 'Map' using Power BI Desktop, but it works after publishing it to Power BI Service. The field drag to LOCATION is written in Chinese which is a combination of City and District. And it can work when I login in ChinaCloud Account for both Desktop and Service. I am not able to reproduce your issue in my local environment (Power BI Desktop Version: 2.45.4704.722 64-bit (April 2017) ). 

What is your desktop version? What is the Data Category type you set for location field? If using other type of map visual with the same data view, does issue persist?

Furthermore, I will appreciate that if you can share the pbix file or provide sample data, I will test it in my environment.
