My Date measure won't create a hierarchy

My Date measure won't create a date hierachy containg year, month, day. Yet I have this same measure with a hierachy in another PBI. It only creates what I have pasted below. Does any one know what I need to change? Thanks.

I would remove the auto/date time feature and consider creating your own proper date table. There are severe limitations to using the built in auto date/time: https://www.sqlbi.com/articles/automatic-time-intelligence-in-power-bi/

As far as I know, measures do not have a hierarchical structure. You can create calculated columns for dates and it will automatically create the hierarchy. You can create multiple measures if you need to show the year, month, quarter and day of the date.

Column = [Date]

Create measures.

Year Measure = MAX('Table'[Date].[Year])

Quarter Measure = MAX('Table'[Date].[Quarter])

Month Measure = MAX('Table'[Date].[Month])

Day Measure = MAX('Table'[Date].[Day])

This is true, however, by using a proper date table, you don't need to create any measures for your date columns. They already exist and you can then use Power BI's powerful time intelligence functions.
