Multiple hyperlinks in one cell in report table

Hi all

I am a newbie to PowerBI and was hoping that I could get some help from some PowerBI Gurus here. My question is about how to create multiple click-able hyperlinks in one cell in a report table.

I have a dataset which has a column that sometimes contains more than one website links in a cell, as you can see in the example table below. So my questions are:

  1. Is there a way I can make these links become click-able hyperlinks in a report table to make it easier for my users when they view the report?
  2. OR ideally, when users click on the cell with multiple hyperlinks, these links will be opened in separate tabs in a web browswer?
  3. Is there a way to make these hyperlinks become an icon instead of full hyperlinks as it can be very lengthy.

Note: I have tried WebURL category, Uncategorized and Format to show Icon, but all cells with more than one hyperlink became one big hyperlink, which made the links invalid.

Thanks in advance, any help would be much appreciated.

Hi @Anonymous ,

  1. Is there a way I can make these links become click-able hyperlinks in a report table to make it easier for my users when they view the report?
  2.  opened in separate tabs in a web browswer?
  3. Is there a way to make these hyperlinks become an icon instead of full hyperlinks as it can be very lengthy.

The above requirements can be achieved, the only problem is that each cell can only have one link.

Lionel Chen

@Anonymous , You can icon using this option - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/power-bi-hyperlinks-in-tables#display-a-hyperlink-icon-instead-of-a-url

But for multiple URL you have split them into columns or rows using split in power Query -https://www.tutorialgateway.org/how-to-split-columns-in-power-bi/
