Multi colored map changes to single color

Hi,

I created a multi-colored map using the ArcGIS visual in Power BI Desktop, by dropping a field into the color section of the fields area, but for some reason the map reverted back to a single color.  It also reverted back in Power BI Service. Can someone tell me what causes that to happen so that I can prevent it from happening in the future?

Best regards,

Chris

@criley , Have you used the legend to color the map. In case of legend , if you use it for fill; it will show the color for the top legend
