Monitor/Measure & Improve Power BI Dataset Performance

Hi Everyone,

I am currently facing the challenge of 1. monitoring/ measuring & 2. improving the performance of my Power BI Dataset (I have one power bi dataset where I store the data and many reports are connected to this dataset for the visualization).

The goal is to have faster refreshed time and smaller size dataset

What I would like to know from the step 1. is:
 a. Is there any DAX formulas (which one) that should be optimized (writting them differently) or should even be moved to the query?

 b. Is there any query (which one) that should be optimized or should even be happening outside of Power BI (SQL, ETL tools, ect.)?

 c. Shall my datamodel be revisited and improved?

For this I would be very grateful if you could help me:

1. Understand what are the general recommendations/ "industry" standard on how to proceed? I went through the power bi documentation but did not find anything relevant for my use cases.

2. Is there any tools that could help me with what I am looking for?
