Modify column header name without any manual intervention

I made a report with charts using an Excel file. I shared it with the client. The client changed the column names, and now I need to update them in all the charts without doing it manually. How do I do that?

Hello @shubham_11 ,

the only way to not make it automatically in every chart , is to rename the column in power query as they were before.

else you need to adjust them manually in the reports and in every chart.

Hey @Idrissshatila , I didn't understand your solution. Can you provide more details? I attempted to rename the column using M language in Power Query. However, when I load the data into Power BI Desktop, we have to manually adjust each chart to avoid any errors

@shubham_11 , yes because you already loaded before the new named columns and power bi recognised them as new columns so now you should click on every chart to fix errors.

but for the next time this won't happen because now you renamed them as there main names
