Hello team,
I have upgaredd my Power BI desktop to Jan 2022 version long back and recently encountering an issue with the PBI desktop with this error :
Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'M Engine error: 'Microsoft.MashupEngine; [Expression.Error] We cannot convert the value 504 to type List.'. '.
Not sure what made it triggered all of sudden. Atatched the screenshot of the message that im getting - "The Report has not been upgraded to use the enhanced metadata format, which is required to make modeling changes".
Could you please help me how this issue could be resolved?
Looks like the same dashboard is working fine for my other team member who is on Jan 2021 version - 2.88.2361.0 64-bit. I'm on Jan 2022 version.
When I tried to update /accept the change, it is throwing me with this error :
Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'M Engine error: 'Microsoft.MashupEngine; [Expression.Error] We cannot convert the value 504 to type List.'. '.
Microsoft is forcing you to move to the current metadata format. This has been announced a while back. Are you able to accept that change?
