Merging Two Data Sources - Single Chart (Variance)

I have two data sources (Excel files on One Drive):

Incident (Logged)

Incidents (Closed)

I want to create a chart similar to the one below that shows whether or not the number of opened incidents in a week is greater or lower than those closed, showing the variance:

I'm not sure how I go about that?

As an added bonus it would be good if I could also show the table figures as show above.

Hi johnbradbury,

Could you please give more details about your tables and expected requirement?
