Measure with running total per date and per category

Hi guys,

I would desperately need your help with creating running total per both date and per category.

I have created following function that is showing data correctly with slicers. However after adding column "Tariff name" (which is in the same table) into legend of Bar chart, data are incorrect. Please refer to the attached screenshots:

Cumulative drivers (registered at) =

CALCULATE (
    COUNT( dbo_DIM_Driver[DriverID]),
        NOT(ISBLANK(dbo_DIM_Driver[Registered At])),
            FILTER (ALLSELECTED(dbo_DIM_Driver),
                dbo_DIM_Driver[Registered At] <= MAX (dbo_DIM_Driver[Registered At]))
)

Applying slicer on running total - woking OK:

Applying legend into Stacked column chart - NOT OK - as you can see, the tariff "Journalist" is showing completely wrong numbers.IvanS_1-1657475590624.png

Any help is much appreciated!

Thank you

IvanS

@IvanS , Join your date with date table, use period from date table in visual and measure like

Cumulative drivers (registered at) =

CALCULATE (
COUNT( dbo_DIM_Driver[DriverID]),
NOT(ISBLANK(dbo_DIM_Driver[Registered At])),
FILTER (ALLSELECTED(date),
date[date] <= MAX (date[date]))
)

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :radacad sqlbi My Video Series Appreciate your Kudos.
