Hi,
I am trying to create a tornado chart where I can get the percent owned or percent dependency for each product such that each product would total 100%.
I have tried using all except and all selected and can't seem to get the right syntax to achive this. I created some dummy data to show the desired result but the key is that it totals 100% for each product by Type.
Thanks
Type | Product | Count | |
Owned | A | 1 | |
Dependency | A | 1 | |
Owned | B | 1 | |
Dependency | B | 1 | |
Owned | A | 1 | |
Dependency | A | 1 | |
Dependency | A | 1 | |
Desired Result | |||
Owned | Dependency | ||
Product | |||
A | 40% | 60% | |
B | 50% | 50% |

@bcobrien1977 add few measures to achieve this:
Total Count = SUM ( Table[Count] )
Type Percent = DIVIDE ( [Total Count], CALCULATE ( [Total Count], ALL ( Table[Type] ) ) )

Thanks for this again. I am trying to introduce a new wrinkle to display time in addition to type such the calculation will work with type and fiscal year quarter.
Adding both variables but still having the percent total 100%. I have tried
Type Percent = DIVIDE ( [Total Count], CALCULATE ( [Total Count], ALL ( Table[Type] ), ALL ( Table[Fiscal Year Quarter] ))
Is there another way to do this or is there a limiatation on how I can configure this to work with two variables? Thanks
Type | Product | Count | FY Quarter |
Owned | A | 1 | FY 23 Q3 |
Dependency | A | 1 | FY 23 Q4 |
Owned | B | 1 | FY 23 Q3 |
Dependency | B | 1 | FY 23 Q3 |
Owned | A | 1 | FY 23 Q3 |
Dependency | A | 1 | FY 23 Q4 |
Dependency | A | 1 | FY 23 Q3 |
