Measure for grand total average not working in Card visual, shows a value when used in a table

Hello all, can't figure out why this measure only works in a table, I want to drop it in a card and show the average of all non blanks

ChkAvg =

CALCULATE(AVERAGEX(FILTER(Measures,Measures[CheckItemDuration] <> BLANK()),Measures[CheckItemDuration]))

[CheckItemDuration] is a whole number result from a DateDiff measure and it uses start and end measures.
