Lotus Notes hyperlinks in Power BI

 Hello,

 I was wondering if there is any solution to the following scenario: I have loaded data in Power BI Desktop and one column (called Links), contains hyperlinks to Lotus Notes application, e.g. "notes://XYZ454/A123456789/B123456778/...". In Power BI we have a grid listing the hyperlinks as well and we would like to be able to access Lotus Notes when clicking any of these links.  

I have searched the community for solutions and tried to update the Data Category as Web URL or Image URL but no luck.. It seems that Power BI is limited to few URIs types such http, https, file, ftp, etc. but not to notes..

  If there is any workaround or solution for this issue, I would greatly appreciate your help:)

And thank you so much for your quick response! I have already tried already the documented solutions you sent me but it doesn't work for Lotus Notes hyperlinks..It works for regular URLs, yes.

I believe Power BI hyperlinks recognition is limited to the following URIs(as per documentation): 

"Considerations and troubleshooting

URLS must start with one of the following:

• http
• https
• -mailto
• file
• ftp
• news
• telnet"

Any other option..or else?

Hi Daniela,
You can also try to use any shape and under Action property select Web Url in Type option and enter Web URL I hope it may accept any URLs.

Thank you so much for your suggestions! Unfortunately none of the options worked for me..I believe Power BI is limited to the few URI types as per Microsoft documentation..

If anyone succeeded accessing Lotus Notes links from Power BI, please let me know.

As you said, the URLs in Power BI do have limitation, which is already stated in the official documentation.
