Limiting input values in a numeric slicer

Hello,

i'm using a slicer to filter a range of data. I wanted to limit the data intrusion in the slicer to the values of the measure in question, in this example between "3" (min) and "82" (max). However the user can place values outside this range in the data entry boxes.

For example, the user con place a value of "-6" in the left box of the slicer anda a value of "300" in the right box of the slicer. In this example, i wanted the slicer to automatically assume the value "3" in the left box every time the user put a value less than 3, and the value "82" in the right box every time the user put a value greater than 82.

Is it possible to prevent the user from registering values outside the measurement range in the numeric slicer?

Thank You

Hi @dcoelho ,

If you want to prevent the user from registering values outside the measurement range, you could create a fixed table as a slicer( with no relationship ).

Then use SELECTEDVALUE() function and IF() formula to create a measure to return your result.

Hi @dcoelho

Whatever values are entered into slicer between range are not affecting the actual range, so if you click at the dot it will evert back to min state.
