Issue with One Chart not affecting other charts correctly

HI, New to the forum and new to PowerBI

I am currently setting up a dashboard, and learning PowerBI as I go.

My Dashboard consists fo 4 pages, page1 and page 2 are linked by data, and page3 and page4 are also linked.

The issue I am having is on page 3, I have 2 charts, the first is a pie chart and the second a bar chart.

The data that is being displayed on these visuals, is depot and defects reported.  I have configured the pie chart to show the top 5 depots by number of defects, and the bar chart, is the top 5 defects.

When I have all segments of the pie selected, the bar chart correctly shows me the top 5 defects accross all depots, but when i click one of the segments on the pie, the bar chart then shows faded bars, with darker shades for any of those defects in the original top 5 that are relevant to the depot, screenshot attached

What I want to happen is that when I click a segment on the pie chart, the bar chart then shows me the top 5 defects for that depot that is selected.

I have this working on page 1 exactly as i expect.  But I have tried to replicate it on page 3 and cannot get it working.

The data fields used on the pie and bar charts accross both pages is identical, just from different data tables.  page one uses data table 2, and page 3 uses data table 4, however the data fields are formatted identically on both data tables.

I have gone through each visual and the associated filters to ensure they are the same on page 1 and page 3 and all is exactly the same, so I just cannot figure out why the bar chart on page 3 is not behaving how I would like

Can anybody offer any advice as to where I am going wrong?

Hi @grabrail ,

Please check in the model view whether table 4 has established relationship with other tables? If so, please try to remove the relationship.
You can also edit the interaction so that the pie chart does not interact with the bar chart.
