Hi,
I have following reports, where is has Start date of employees and End data of Employees. Also, I have created a Calendar table with dates.
I have created a relationship of Start date to Date as Many to one. I wanted to create another realtion End date to Date, but I could not as PowerBI not allowing and getting error
This is the actual Report -
When I am clicking on positive values (Start date of employees), I am getting employee details in following report. However, when I click on negetive value (Exit data of employee) then I do Start date of employee. Basically, I am not getting correct data.
My undestanding is that, because of the realationship, I have created with Start date - its working for Start date. And, as I can not create a realtionship with End Date, its not working for End date.
Is there a way, we can resolve this and can it start working for Start date and End Date.
It can be resolved by creating inactive relationship between End date of Employees Table and date in calendar table and then write a measure for that Exit date of employee.
Could you share the sample data ?
Thanks,

Hello @amitchandak
Thank you for this information.
However, when I am checking your file and trying to replicate according to my requirements, its not working or not getting the result as expected. I tried creating following table in your file as per my requirement.
When there is no relationship between Start/End date with Date Table
- Getting unrelated data.
When creating a relationship with Start Date with Date table
- Getting the correct data.
- Also, when I am clicking on bar (Start date) following table of User information is getting filter correctly.
- However, it does not happen when I click on Exit/End Date, as there is no relationship with Date table.
- This is where, I am facing the issue
- I need solution, where If I click on End/Exit then it should filter correct data in Employee information table and Vice versa of Start date.
Thank you!
