Will all data be stored in the MS Cloud when all reports are generated and stored?

Not available when internal data is transferred to the external cloud by corporate security policy.

I want to ask if the desktop version, not 'pro license', sends all the data to the cloud.

Hi,

When we publish the report to the Service:

For "Import", the dataset of the report is saved on the Azure cloud server.

For ‘Direct Query’ & ’Live Connection’, the dataset on the Service is empty, because this mode does not import data into the local .pbix file.

If the .pbix is saved locally, your data will also be saved on the local disk("Import" mode).

@choonlee , When you publish, then data is only sent to the cloud. Desktop keeps data locally.
