Inconsistent Data with large Sharepoint Folder Files

I'm working with a 1gb PowerBI report. (Building it in desktop, then publishing it to premium service after.)

I initially wanted it to fetch directly from files in a Sharepoint folder. Problem is, it's not importing the complete data set. There's a varying number of missing rows. Sharepoint data is at 2.18GB worth (from 8 CSV's). I do see all the expected data if I just connect to a local set of 2GB CSV's, so I know that it's not with PowerBI itself.

Any idea what's going on? Is there a dataset limit when connecting via Sharepoint?

Hi @Tony5

There are some limits in sharepoint list and power query function sharepoint.

Please try workarounds from this link:

https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/SharePoint-File-Retrieval-Limit/idi-p/307021#comments

Also, pay attention to the limitaions of rows and columns in Power BI.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/service-get-data#considerations-and-limitatio...

The maximum number of columns allowed in a dataset, across all tables in the dataset, is 16,000 columns
