How to select columns and Union 2 tables in Power Query

I have 2 tables as below.

9.png

10.png

I want to Union these 2 tables into 1 single table in Power Query.

I know that Table.Combine would do this but I believe the column name needs to be same.

I don't want to do this within the DAX Union but within the Powe Query Editor.

Is there anyway I can achieve this? Please help me.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you for advice.

When I do the append query it is show as below.

I think this happens because the field name is not exactly the same.

I would like to combine the table when the column name is different like above.

It could be workaround when I change the field name but it is tedious when the data is big.

Is there way I can achieve this within Power Query?

@PeraZo Column name needs to be the same - change Year_2023 and Year_2022 simply to "Date" for example.

@PeraZo , You can this by using Append query which is available in top right of the Power Query menu, select any of the Append Query or Append Query as New if you want to create new table,

@PeraZo Use table append. If you select Append as a new table, a new table is created of the two appended tables. If you select Append tables, the second table is appended to the first one.
