I have a table that contains the following:
Version Name
Version Start Date
I have a slicer with Version Name mapped to it to show in the slicer
Here is sample data:
Version Name Version Start Date
CM_Apr_2022 03/16/2022
CM_Apr_2023 04/14/2023
CM_Ap22_2022 04/13/2022
CM_Mar_2024 03/01/2024
How I want to show this is based on Version Start Date desc, so it would show in the slicer as:
CM_Mar_2024
CM_Apr_2023
CM_Ap22_2022
CM_Apr_2022
I did do the sort on the Start Date first, but still not in this order.
Also, as a bonus it would be nice to show both fields in the slicer.
Thank you

Hello! You have to set the Sort By order in the Column Tools ribbon: Sort one column by another column in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
In this case, you would sort Version Name by Version Date in descending order.
