Help - Unable to Connect two Dimension tables

Hi, I have two Dimension tables.

1) Materials shipped from supplier (the supplier's data set)

2) Materials received from Supplier (our internal data set)

The only common thread matching the two data sets is the Supplier's Material ID Number.

How best would I approach linking these tables in relationship to build a report comparing materials ordered (supplier) v materials recieved (manufacturer) to find variances?

Thanks.

@1001 , Create common dimensions: Supplier's Material ID Number, date etc and analyze data together
