Help! Individual marker colors will not change in scatter chart

This used to work. I could change the color of individual bubbles in a scatter chart to to make them easy to track (when using Play axis). Visualizations>Format Visual>Markers>Colors>Show All and then change the color for the individual value/marker. I do that now and absolutely nothing happens in my visual. Indeed, I created a completely separate file from scratch and still can't change the color of an individual marker (only the default color for all of them). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try switching back temporarily and see if the functionality is restored in the old format pane.

Note that this is only a workaround. The new format pane will be mandatory as of May,  You will want to raise an issue or Pro ticket to make sure they fix that before the enforcement.
