Getting data from dynamics crm online getting hanged when there is huge data

Hi All,

In our project there is a requirement to show case deatils in power power BI report.

we are getting the data from datasource Dynamics CRM online.

we are facing an issue when retreiving the data from case entity and this is happening when there is huge data in case enity and the power BI is getting hanged, but when it has less data it is working fine.

Please suggest me better solution in fixing this issue on huge data.

Hi @karthikkatta,

There are some proposals for you troubleshooting this issue.

1. Untick the following options in Power BI Desktop.

2. Use 64 bit Power BI Desktop to connect to your data source.

3. If the above steps don’t help, export data from Dynamics CRM online to SQL Server database, then use DirectQuery option to connect to the database in Power BI Desktop.
