Good morning, im having some trouble making an graph that shows the top 5 equipments that had more time stopped and that stopped more times, for an example m1 stopped 30 times and it counts 80 hours stopped m2 stopped 25 times and counts 58 hours stoppe, is there a way to do it ? the amount of equipments is 692 .
Use ALLEXCEPT on the equipment and then create RANK on it this will help you to get the total for that particular equipment irrespective of the period.
so how do i need to use the ALLEXCEPT im kinda new with dax formula, i need to create a second calculated column or do i just need to put it into the formula ?
Create a Ranking column for hours stopped and then use that ranking column for filtering data.
In below example I have considered 10 equipments and their hours. Also created ranking using below formula:
Hours Ranking = RANKX('Table','Table'[Hours Stopped],,DESC,Dense)
Then use filters on this visual as per below screenshot:

i tried you solution, i have data that goes from 2020 till now and i think that because of that the formula gave me that ranks
is there a way to specify the ranks for period ?
