Filter page based on table selection

The picture above is just an example but similar to what I am working with. I have graphs and a data table visual that is measuring the daily amount of store traffic at certain times of day: morning, afternoon, and evening. Currently, if I select a single row, it will show the store's traffic from that single day. I want to be able to pick a row but still see data points from every single day. For example, if I pick the first row, all graphs will show every row and datapoint of Forever 21. This would be exactly like using a slicer based on the store, but I want to be able to do it directly from the table. Is there a way to do this?

@Anonymous If you use a Matrix visual instead of a Table visual, you could drill down to the store level and by default 'drilling filters all visuals on page' so you could acheive a similar effect. Does that make any sense? @mention me in reply or I will lose thread.

@Anonymous you can't achieve that with the table as you have it configured, because selecting a row is going to pass the entire filter context (date included) to the chart visual.

If you really want to be able to select "Store" from a table, just create a seperate table visual containing only the Store field.  Although, I'm confused about what functional benefit this could possibly provide over just using a slicer visual.

Okay, thank you. The purpose is because the actual dataset I am working with contains thousands of stores and several dates, so being able to pick and choose one straight from the table could be easier. For example, if I wanted to see the store with the highest traffic on any given day, I could sort that column on the table and pick that row. However, I would still want to see the activity from the entire timeframe to identify and analyze trends. It would eliminate the extra step of having to search for the field in a slicer.

@Anonymous hmm that use case actually makes a lot of sense, I just can't think of a very elegant solution to achieve that....

You could sort of cobble this together using another filter table, adjusting the interactions between the 3, and using "Ctrl+click".   But that's a very messy, non-ideal solution.
