Hi all,
I have loaded a simple table in power bi desktop.
Type | Product | quantity |
vegetable | eggplant | 10 |
vegetable | cabbage | 12 |
vegetable | potato | 15 |
Fruits | apple | 5 |
Fruits | mango | 20 |
Fruits | banana | 9 |
I have two slicers (type and product).
I would like the slicer Type to filter the slicer Product, but in the slicer Product all the options must be visible like below:
In simple words, is there any way that a slicer can highlight another slicer?
p.s. I have achieved cross highlighting between a visual and the chiclet slicer, but i need to do it with another slicer.
Thank you in advance
Xenofon

hi @Fon
To my knowledge, it couldn't achieve that highlight between slicer for now, slicer is used to filter data, not like other visuals to interact each other.

Lin
Hi @Fon ,
This is what you want to achieve, right?
Just go to Format Tab and choose Edit Interactions.
Click the Product Slicer
then turn off the Interaction of the Type slicer
and you're done.
Choose Edit Interactions again once you are done.
Hope this helps.
@Fon , refer this can help

Thank you very much for your answer but it doesn't help. I didn't explain very well what i want to do.
When i choose fruits on the table, , then the chiclet slicer supports cross highlighting.
i would like to achive this using the slicer type and not the table.
Thank you in advance
I see.
Why don't you use the chiclet slicer also for the type?
I 've tried it. My problem is that a slicer (even the chiclet) can not highlight another slicer. Maybe it is stupid what i am asking to do, because a slicer can filter and not highlight another slicer.
Thank you very much.
