Dynamic Row level security based on multiple columns

Hi everyone at the PowerBi Community, I have a very complex RLS situation. Whereby i have a fact table with these keys.

LucianH_1-1607623437734.png

The user key is not in the Fact table Only the OrgUnitKey, AreaKey, JobCardTypeKey. For simplicity the userkey will be in my bridge usertable and in my bridgeOrgAreaCard table.

The problem I am facing is There are users that have access to only certain portions of data like in this instance user 317, has access to 3 Org Units and in this case should only see this data. The Area is tied to a specific OrgUnit and The JobCardType number can be tied to different OrgUnits. I can't choose one field to filter on here. because the User definately can't see all the data for the OrgUnits he has access to and the same way for the other 2 columns. So even if this User has Access to OrgUnit 2629 OrgUnit 2629 has many Areas and Many JobCards and he is to supposed to only see the access for that Areas and those job cards.

Hope this makes sense. Appreciate any help with this

Thanks

L

Hi  @LucianH  ,

You can refer to the following blog, which can help you create dynamic RLS rules with different paths:
