Dynamic Currency Symbols

Hello,

I have this data with me .

post.jpg

I need to change the currency symbol dynamically before the values.

I have the list of symbols in one table and need to get the symbols from there only instead of changing them in the power bi offered symbols in modelling tab.

I have tried concatenating the symbol before the value but the whole value gets converted into text so I cant get the total values.

I have also tried creating these measures.

Total revenue = sum(revenue) &

CurrencySymMeasure = SWITCH(TRUE(),
SELECTEDVALUE('Table [states])="GHA", FORMAT([Total revenue],"G#,H#,¢#, #,#####0"),
SELECTEDVALUE('Table [states])="BOT", FORMAT([Total revenue] ,"P#, #,####0"),
SELECTEDVALUE('Table [states])="LSO", FORMAT([Total revenue],"L#, #,####0"),
[Total revenue]])

This works only in table format . but I have pie charts, table charts also where I need to show the currency values along with symbol which changes automatically when I select particular country .

Thanks in advance

@dia612 there is no current option to dynamic change format until you use calculation groups, read this here.

You need to use Tabluar Editor 3rd party tool to make it work.

Hello   @parry2k , thank you for taking out time and giving a reply.

As you suggested , if I created calculated groups using Tabular Editor  and get those currency symbol,

how can I  get them to power bi and

also will those values work in pie charts , area charts and line charts also ??

or will it work only in table?
