Hello,
I am looking to use the capacity of machines 1,2 and 3 in the most efficient way possible to prepare the orders of products a,b,c,d and e.
Only a certain type of products can be manufactured in each machine.
Can anybody suggest how to achieve this with dax, either:
Thanks.
Hi @hassan_d ,
I'm not clear about your requirement. Could you please provide your expected result with more details(calculation logic, correct result etc.) base on the current data? Do you want to get the proper product which can be manufactured in each machine? Thank you.
Best Regards
Thank you so much for getting back @v-yiruan-msft.
The requirement is to use the available resources (capacity) in an optimal way - could be more than one.
One solution could be something like this:
The product that can be manufactured in each machine is already identified, the thing is not to make the same product in another machine if it has already been assigned to one.
I have got to this using filters, in this example user can select which product they want to place in each machine, but its not feasible for bigger data sets, but the idea is to populate each machine optimally using dax.
Also, like in this example, once the product "a" has been assigned to Machine 2, it mustn't appear as an option for the other machines unless unselected again.
Kind regards,
