I have a report with a live connection to a power bi data set - Is there a way to move locally defined measures to display folders? The field to type in display folder names is greyed out and drag and drop is not working.

Hi @hhus4242
When the mode is Live connection , you cannot move locally defined measures to display folders unless convert the mode to Direct Query .
If the data source is Power BI dataset or Azure Analysis Service , you can change the model to Direct Query . If the data source is not the two I mentioned, you have no way to switch the mode in the Desktop .
The link below is to introduce how to change the model from Live connection to Direct Query when the data source is Power BI dataset or Azure Analysis Service .You can refer to it .

@hhus4242 , Not when this is live connection. If you try to add new table using enter data, it can move this model to direct query, then you can it there
