I have a hierarchy date slicer (in the following order: Year, Fiscal Period, Fiscal Week, Date) that looks like this:
And here is the actual slicer:
I want to be able to have have the slicer to default to the previous day, while allowing the end users to change the date if they so choose.
Can this be done? If I need to use a measure/DAX what would the syntax look like?
@Jbrenner2019, unfortunately, there is no out of the box way to select the default value, there are convoluted solutions using bookmarks/measures, etc but not very elegant, if you were using a simple date slicer, you can play with relative date slicer but in this hierarchy case.
I would ❤ Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!
