Default selector to current date?

Is there a way to set custom values as selector defaults?  I know it was discussed years back but I can't figure out if this was ever done?

I don't want a relative date slicer control that says today, I want a drop down slicer but I want the current day (or any day formula set value) to default when the page loads.

@OneWithQuestion unfortunately it is still the same case, you cannot have a default value. I think this is an idea on the ideas forum, you should vote for it.

Hi @OneWithQuestion ,

You can so like this.

1, Create a calculated column and add it to the slicer.

2, Set "Current Date" as the default value.

As the date is updated, this default value is always the current date.

Best regards,
Lionel Chen
