Hi,
I have a large table in SQL with data that are growing pretty fast. I don't want to import the whole thing to Power BI, just to choose from slicers the start and end dates and get only the data that I need based on slicers. How do I do that?

My issue now is how to bind my parameter to the selected date on slicer.

As you know you can do it like you want. You need to define the dates before, because the data will be loaded first.

Other option is using direct query. With direct query the data remains on your server and the PBI send the query request data when you filter the visual
