Date hierarchies not working in DirectQuery Mode

Date hierarchies aren't working in DirectQuery Mode, but are working in Import mode. Please help

@Anonymous ,there can be a few reasons.

 

You might have switched off auto date time at file level (In options and Setting -> Options )

 

Joined these dates with a date table

I always prefer a date table and not the auto date time hierarchy

Hi @amitchandak I need to rank sales, by item, by store number, is this possible? I.e. Top selling items by store

I.e: StoreID, SalesQty, ItemNumber

Store 1 sales 52 item a = Rank 2

Store 1 sales 187 item b = Rank 1

store 2 sales 91 Item a = Rank 1

store 2 sales 36 Item b = Rank 2

Store 3 sales 87 item a = Rank 1

Store 3 sales 31 item b = Rank 2
