I have a table with a list of ticket numbers and a second column labeled client that shows a 1 or 0.
For ticket #4, the client column shows a 1 which is correct in query editor. But in the Data view it shows 0 for the same ticket #. What could be causing this? I've tried changing the data type, refreshing, etc.
For example:
Query Edit will show:
Ticket | Client |
4 | 1 |
Data View will show
Ticket | Client |
4 | 0 |
What would cause the client column to change??
Query Editor just provides a preview and often the view is actually cached from previous refreshes. You can refresh the preview to see if it changes to 0 in the Query Editor as well (it clears the cache).
If your model was recently refreshed then I would guess that the correct value is actually 0 (at least that's the value consistent with the source that's currently used in Power Query)
Could it be that PowerQuery is using different folder/period than the one you are checking manually?
