D3.js circularHeatMap working with a data table

I am trying to "import" the circularHeatmap https://www.peterrcook.com/articles/circularheatchart by following this https://www.mssqltips.com/sqlservertip/5273/how-to-render-d3js-custom-charts-in-power-bi-desktop/ . I'm completely flummoxed though as I can't work out how to add the code to make it work with a data table. I've tried variations but the visualisation doesn't even appear so its hard to tell what I'm doing wrong.  If anyone could give me a working example to work from or point me to somewhere that explains things in a bit more depthI'd be really grateful, . I am not a developer but have managed a circular heatmap before using DexCharts. If I posted any of my code attempts here it would be embarassing - I don't appear to be even close from what I've seen so far which was to try to merge the tabular heatmap code example with the D3.js circularHeatmap code.

My visualisation is for the segments to be Projects, with each ring denoting a project week and the value being a Red/Amber/Green. You can do the same thing with multiple donut charts, but D3 is a better way to go for what I'm trying to do, and I have other ideas for that type of vidsualisation.

Hi @Anonymous ,

https://github.com/peterrcook/d3-circularheat

You download the source code directly from github and then package it as a .pbiviz file. Please refer to this document for how to pack.

Best regards,
Lionel Chen
