Count if start and end date fall in a specific month

Hi All,

I would appreciate your help on a problem i have been tryign to solve. I want to be able to plot a bar chart showing no of trials organised since the start of this FY by month.

In my data set I have the order ID, order start date and order end date. A trial can run ffrom couple of days to sevral months. I am trying to capture the number of trials running at for each month:

For the snipped below, first trial will show a count of 1 for March, second trial should show a count of 1 for Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, April. How can i sum the counts for the respective months?
