Hi Guys,
My organisation is connecting to a PBI dataset, which feeds about 10 different reports.
This PBI dataset itself is just a normal PBIX file with the data model.
We also have a setup where we have a Dev workspace, a Test workspace and a prod workspace.
My question is - is it possible to parameterise a PBI dataset connection?
So one of the reports that are connected to a DEV PBI dataset can connect to the Test version of the PBI dataset via a parameter.
I can't seem to access Power Query when connecting to PBI Service datasets.
Thanks

Hi @Anonymous
Due to the connection mode is live connection, you can't use PowerQuery Editor and parameter function. And you can't get more data from other datasets. You may try to get data directly from local computer or try to saving your data in Azure Analysis Service, and get data.(Import except live connection)

@Anonymous ,
I got some similar thread like your query:
I hope it may help you.
@Anonymous , I doubt you can do much with power bi dataset, the Only visualization is enabled.
