What is the best method to changing a column header/name?
Should I change the excel column [Name] to [Employee] then do the same in the fields section of Power BI then hit refresh?
Will that work? always seem to get the message, column does not exist.

After importing the data , if you change the column name again in data source, then, if you refresh in Power BI Desktop, you will meet an error like this:
In order to solve the error, you need to modify the code in 'Edit Query', like this:
