Dear all,
i would like to change the Azure Analysis Services Server as a datasource for my Power BI Reports from Server A to Server B.
Server A: already shut down
Server B: new AAS server
We migrated the server in a new Azure Subscription. So both AAS models are identical.
Now, when I download the report from Power BI online (only possible with live connection) I can't open it in Power BI Desktop since Server A is already shut down. However I would need to open the file to change the datasource.
Is there any other way to change the AAS connection?
Thank you!

Here is a link to an article that contains a powershell script which will strip the connection from an existing .pbix file without opening it. Then, when you do open it, you can "fix" the connection by pointing it to the new source.

You can change the source from Json code in VS
