Can not Link table in "circle"

Hello,

I am having difficulties linking 3 tables together. The tables are as follows:

- [ACTIONS]: these are all the actions that a salesperson may have taken to approach a prospect. Each action has a unique ID. Some actions have a 'to do' status and others a 'done' status.  When an action is "done" it generates an opportunity with an "opportunity ID".

- [OPPORTUNITY]: these are all opportunities with a potential signature (pipeline) or with a signature/lost.

- [HR]: this is a list of all sales people with a unique sales ID.

Join:

- OPPORTUNITY to ACTIONS (cross direction "both"): I need to create a link between the two tables for two reasons. The first is to be able to say that an action has created an opportunity and the second is to see all the opportunities in a broad sense, i.e. both those that have been generated as a result of a "done" action and those that have not.

- OPPORTUNITY & ACTION TO HR: the aim is to be able to filter on a sales and have the opportunity and action table be dynamic for the same sales.

My question is would you have a way to create a looped link (see image below)?

Thank you.

Short answer: This is not possible.

Having multiple filtering pathways from one table to another leads to ambiguities and having a loop is even worse.

I'd recommend reading the SQLBI articles on relationships to better understand. The most relevant one is probably Bidirectional Relationships and Ambiguity in DAX but others are worth a read too.
