Calculated column

Hi,

I want to calculate the amount paid by the customer after discount , I want to use two columns from two different tables, the other table has the discount and the other has the total. How do I go about doing that?

Thank you

Hi,

This approach should work

  1. Create a third table with a single column of all unique Customer names
  2. Create a relationship (Many to One and Single) from the 2 tables to the table created in 1 above
  3. To your visual, drag Customer name from the newly created third table
  4. Write these measures

T = sum('Table1'[Total])

D = sum('Table2'[Discount])

N = [T]-[D]

Hope this helps.
