Calculated column as parameter in paginated report

I have created a calculated column in report builder and am tryin got use that column  as a parameter but getting this error. 

The parameter <ccon>Date</ccon> is not referred in the query.
I have  found the issue is that calculated column is not refernced in the query editor and was wodnering if there is a way around this to clear the error.

How do you create the report parameter? Do you follow the documents below?

Report parameters in Power BI Report Builder

Create parameters for paginated reports in the Power BI service

And I think you should be aware of this: Not all data sources support parameters.
