Calculate MAX sale from All Store Other Than Selected Store

Hi,

I have to calculate Maximum sale against all store other than selected store.
I used following DAX but it returning blank. If I use = sign other than <> sign then it works correctly for selected store which not the required scenario.

MaxSales = MAXX(FILTER(DimStore,DimStore[StoreNumber]<>[Selected Store]),Sum(FactSale[SaleQty]))

Is there any thing wrong with this DAX expression?

Hi @Anonymous 

Due to I don’t know your data, I create a sample by myself.

DimStore Table and FactSale Table:

Create another Slicer table by the StoreNumber value in DimStore Table .

Slicer = VALUES(DimStore[StoreNumber])

Then we build a Slicer by this table.

Note: We didn’t build any relationship between Slicer Table and DimStore Table/FactSale Table.

Create two Measures:

Measure1:

Total Qty = SUM(FactSale[SaleQty])

Measure2:

MaxSales =

VAR _a = SELECTEDVALUE(Slicer[StoreNumber])

return

MAXX(FILTER(DimStore,DimStore[StoreNumber]<>_a),FactSale[Total Qty])

At last we build a card visual to show the result by Measure2.

Now let’s have a test.

calculate(maxx(values(DimStore[StoreNumber]), Sum(FactSale[SaleQty])), filter(all(DimStore) ,DimStore[StoreNumber]<>[Selected Store]))

Assuming selected store is already a measure
